ARTISAN TOUCH
Hand-painted Portuguese tiles bring drama to the powder room of Mark D. Sikes's Hollywood house.
CIRCULAR PATTERN
The circular motif of Ann Sacks's Beau Monde Glass Mosaics tile within this San Francisco master bathroom echos the curved stool and Roman shade.
CEMENT STYLE
Cement floor tiles select up the gray and "include just the correct quantity of pattern," says designer Daleet Spector of an understated bath. "And they're cool and refreshing on bare feet. The area is lavish but in a very contemporary, understated manner."
YELLOW STRIPES
Glass tiles out of Waterworks line the walls and floor in the guest toilet of this California country dwelling by designer Jay Jeffers. The space breaks up and add a note of whimsy.
HEXAGONAL PATTERN
"I wanted drama!" Says designer SuzAnn Kletzien of this bathroom. The impact begins with a dynamic hexagonal-tile "rug" by Artistic Tile. In Nero Marquina White and Thassos marbles, it is a edition of traditional penny-tile.
